The Software is protected by the copyright and patent laws of the United States and international copyright treaties.2. Modification of The Software - You may modify, adapt, translate, or otherwise alter the source code of The Software. Linux Business Accounting Systems assumes no responsibility for the effect or results of any such modifications.
3. Restrictions - The Software is licensed to you for your own use only. You agree to not copy The Software except as is necessary for backup and preservation needs. You may not distribute, give, or otherwise provide or share The Software Source Code with any party outside your own company to whom The Software is licensed. You may use The Software only at one physical site for each paid license fee.
4. No Warranty - The Software is being delivered to you AS IS and Linux Business Accounting Systems makes no warranty as to its use or performance. Linux Business Accounting Systems shall be the sole judge of what is to be considered a "reasonable amount of support" under this paragraph. By accepting the terms of this License you are representing that you or your staff are qualified to understand and develop programs in the C and C++ Languages, are familiar with the use of the standard curses or ncurses libraries, and are also qualified in the use of and programming under the Linux Operating System.
7. Entire Agreement - You agree that this Software License represents the entire agreement between you and Linux Business Accounting Systems.
8. Governing Law and General Provisions - This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., excluding the application of its conflicts of law rules.
9. Severability - If any part of this Agreement is found void or unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of the balance of the Agreement, which shall remain valid and enforceable according to its terms.
